Dr Meenakshi Padmanabhan - The Teacher who is a Scholar, Musician and a Therapist

Dr Meenakshi Padmanabhan is a Fulbright Scholar and a Sanskrit Pandit, who had a double role etched out as a Science and Music teacher with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan for a full 25 years. Trained in Carnatic classical and light music, this double doctorate has one PhD in music and one PhD in Alternative Medicine. She can converse in 14 languages without making one feel left out.

An A Grade Artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, she is also a 'Sangeeth Bhushan' and was awarded the Nadha Jyothi by Tanjore State. She has earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records, Limca Book of Records and India Book of Records for her non-stop singing as well as making others, including Special students perform.

Music is just one of the passions of this relentless healer and teacher. Her mission in life is to heal the world with her doctorate in alternative therapies for free. A gold medallist, she is currently the Chairperson for a charitable organisation that is involved in healing the natural way, with a medically and scientifically proven healing system. She was also awarded the Lifetime achievement award by the Government Of India.

She continues her relentless pursuit of making people more aware of their abilities as she championed the cause of patriotism for India's 75th year celebrations for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. She wrote, composed and sang a 75 song marathon with 75 singers in 14 different languages and christened this huge effort as Kadambamala. Recognising this feat at a public event in Hyderabad in 2022, along with cultural celebrations and dances with Special and Differently-abled children, she led the team into the Indian Book of Records that has received acclaim from the Offices of the Prime Minister and the President of India.

She also was the creator and producer of a unique programme in 2023 where underprivileged children wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 73rd birthday in 73 different languages.

As part of her second season of her brainchild 'Kadambamala', she organised a human chain along with quizzes and elocution for 500 Govt school and college students on the life of Swami Vivekananda on his 160 and 161st birthday anniversary.

She is presently the Hon Director of Indian Book Of Records and cultural Director for sri sakthi.

Last but not least, another feather in her cap, She is an International Convenor for Sri Nikhila NiTYAGNI Ashram, Arunachalam, a charity organisation which performs nitya annadan and promotes Vedic rituals across the globe.
